64 players entered the transfer portal this year for Oklahoma State, the most by any FBS program in a single cycle. Their first year coach, with a third of the NIL budget, is 4-1 with a win over Oregon. He makes less than a third of Kiffin's salary.

LSU bought the shiny turd.

In some ways, yes but I think it’s becoming clear that Dan Lanning is another Gene Chizik meaning his offensive coordinator was the brains behind the operation not him.

While money is obviously a major influence, Morris stated that the small town atmosphere in Stillwater was a major factor in his decision to take the job.

He has been very outspoken about coaching in a place where he wanted to raise his children.

In that regard, Stillwater is a much superior to Baton Rouge.

He also had worked with OSU’s AD at a previous stop.

If I were an AD, I’d hire Morris over Kiffin. I wouldn’t want Kiffin as a HC.

Eric Morris is doing great things at OSU and Drew Mestemaker will be playing on Sundays. He was a great hire for them.

Oklahoma State for sure is in the CFP running.
