should having sec offficials to referee scrimmages be illegal?

it's like having them on pay roll. it is damn smart. if they won't
call it at a scrimmage, they won't call it in game. it gets them
on your side, while getting to scout their tendencies. at the
very least their should be equal access to all officials for all
schools, or some type of guideliness followed by all the schools.
for instance, if referees call your scrimmages, they can't call your
games.

They should use players or grad assistants.

Why does Bama need officials anyway? They never commit penalties.

I've no problem with them working scrimmages. Helps the teams get better and in turn it helps officials get better by giving them the opportunity to review what they do and work on new rules.
