Makes no sense. If you are willing to finish in a tie, why have OT?

It just isn't real football. It is red zone football and all the strategy changes.

True....It's OT....game over...now let the OT decide who wins....strategy...and that is why coaches get paid Millions....

It should be like NFL overtime.

Hardly.....you win a coin toss, kick a field goal...game over...that sucks.......

I like the college method better. Both teams have an equal chance to win......

Second OT: 40
All following OT's: 30

This is an amazing idea IMO.

They want to end the game .... not extend it indefinately.

By starting at the 25 they virtually guarantee that one team will score.

I like it the way it is --- both get the ball, the team that wins the toss gets to choose and typically takes defense first... and I really like the forced 2 pt conversion after 2OT, which ups the stakes if the game goes that far.

I like it the way it is now.

No, both teams deserve a fair shot.

Also lolno at the idea of a game ending in a tie. No more ties.

I'd fully support this. Maybe even starting on own 40s as has been suggested.

But I think a regular kick-off and giving each side a chance at possession makes the most sense. Why shouldn't special teams have any impact in OT?
