Should A&M punt on the season?

Peter burns saying Aggies should throw away this year and prepare for the years to come.
“He'll never do it, but Jimbo Fisher and A&M should take complete advantage of this.
Aggies are 2-2, likely to start 3-3.
Redshirt a bunch of talent, including Mond. Let younger guys play & develop.
Prepare yourself for run in 2020 & 2021.
Think outside the box.”
Probably not a terrible idea, but also could easily get some backlash. What say you Aggies?

Yeah. There's no way we could get any better this season. Everybody should just go ahead and ink it in as a W on the schedule, right?

So basically a red shirt for Jimbo in SEC coaching. Not a bad idea for him to take an extra year to develop and learn the league.

If you believe that nothing matters but the playoff anyway, and you are already out of it for the season, it makes total sense.

I mean, the schedule ain’t getting any easier so regardless of what anybody inks in, there’s gonna be more L’s coming for the Aggies
