Toss up. I am a Christian (with a bad mouth I know) but I will be the first to admit when I am wrong whether I said or did something wrong. The older generations are usually the worst.

It was simple multiple choice question, I didn't say you were either of the two.

the south is filled with a), b) not so much. it's still looked at as a fricking social stigma to be a non-believer in the South.

Depends on your socio-economic and cultural surroundings, honestly. That's a huge stereotype you just made.

To Marines, Jed, NIH:
I've got friends at UGA that are both. I typically find myself in the middle, but find B significantly more annoying.
Also, as a relatively recent cancer survivor, I thought some of this thread was in bad taste

I know, I was just explaining my stance. I would have to go with B, smug people rub me the wrong way.

That particular reply was in response to Jed

Tennessee Jed, why would you even make a remark like that? I don't give a flying frick if you're a Christian/Atheist/Agnostic/Jewish/Buddhist/Hinduist/Sikh/Muslim, or whatever the hell you are, talking shite about a kid with cancer is never cool. I hope you feel like an E-thug for the day, I'm sure it's a major accomplishment for you.

I come from a wealthy Catholic family in Louisiana, I'm not going to put what I really believe out there b/c I know there will be a backlash. I have friends that have the same situation.

I don't really know many Catholics... I am Episcopalian, and no one really cares what anyone thinks as long as there is liquor at weddings and funerals.

I am a Christian. I believe with all my heart and soul that God exists and that he died for us. I do try my best to spread the word of God, but what I don't do is try to shove my religion down peoples throats. I don't like it when people call me an idiot and whatever else for being a believer. I won't yell and scream at a person telling them they are going to Hell for not believing in God. Point is, I don't shove God down your throat, so don't you DARE give me crap for believing in Him.

Episcopalians are a lot more liberal/less strict than the other religions prelavent in the South. You guys have gay and women preachers.
