Not really imo. Why risk another injury?

The best player in a very weak draft. I hope the Pelicans take him then tank again next season and then come the 2014-15 season we have Davis, Noel and a top 5 pick from next year's very deep class.

UF has a chance of going 0-2 vs UK.

Not really. This just opens a scholarship for Wiggins.
In all seriousness if there was ever a kid that Cal needed to push out of the door it was Noel. His rehab is going well and even if he came back he would likely have to sit early on. Might as well get that #1 draft pick, signing bonus, and guaranteed contract while rehabbing. Wish the kid the best, just sad he didn't make it a whole season.

Heard this last year, '10, and '09.. Before you get all butt hurt, yes, I realize y'all recruited a class that was able to gell together. That was a very rare occurance. Might happen next year, but not likely.

Heat, yes has a chance.
The rest of the SEC. No
(seriously, we could lose 2-4 games next year).

WAOM, you seemed butt hurt with anything related to UK basketball. I starting to think Cal or family did something to you.

All it takes is another key injury and the freshmen not meshing with eachother and another disaster will happen. Who says it won't happen again?

Kentucky will be in some trouble next year

I'm assuming you mean 09'-'10 and '10-'11, but yes that Final Four and Elite Eight in those years were awful. And the back to back SEC Tournament Championships as well as the SEC Regular Season Championship in 2010. Just terrible.
Until proven otherwise last year will be the exception more than the norm.

No one is saying it can't. But it's just as laughable that people are disregarding Cal's 3 previous seasons and saying last year will be the norm because of the one and done. It's like people have selectively forgotten that we're returning Wiltjer, Poythress, and Cauley-Stein to go along with those freshman. Or that his teams have gelled more often then they haven't.
You could just as well say a key injury to Florida, Tennessee, Ole Miss, etc could happen and hurt even worse because we'll at least have some depth where some of those teams don't. The possibility of rosters/teams not panning out can happen anywhere.

Because I'm a big basketball fan and y'all have a delusional fan base who believes a title should just be given to y'all every year. You cheat to get players and have a scum bag coach leading the way. It's a pretty sick program.
