Shocked to see how many of you here are defending Sankey

I understand that a lot of SEC schools don't like each other. But there's no way that LSU fans would be cheering on Sankey trying to kick out another SEC charter member just because their coach embarrassed him. Surely you have to realize this is all a BS case? If there were actually incriminating texts from Lane, they would have been front and center in the lawsuit.
Sankey has objectively done a terrible job for the conference and has ceded much ground to the Big Ten. He deserves to be in prison for RICO charges, not leading the SEC and earning $5 million per year.

These issues aren’t mutually exclusive.
Sankey is a bitch and needs to go. That’s not relevant to this LSU debacle you’ve brought on yourselves.

What has LSU done? You all said do not roster the players and this would all go away. Well, Lane and LSU did that and now we are here.
Tell me what you suggest

If you know, Sankey is incompetent at his job and a thin skinned narcissist beyotch. Why would Lane want to go after him? It’s one thing for him to troll another SEC coach. But trolling Sankey and making him an enemy is just stupid.
Lane and Sankey both haves egos that cause them to have blind spots but one of them is the boss.

It is 15 institutions vs. one, well not really. That institution never voted against the rules. So I guess it's your coach and boosters.
You honestly think Sankey did some voodoo to get 15 presidents on his side.
You don't get it.

After the SEC created a rule after the fact, LSU still followed it.
Gonna need you to explain the debacle now

Not surprised to see LSU fans missing the clarity on what is happening.
Emotions clouding judgement.
Two things can be true at the same time.
Nobody is defending Sankey. But it’s not really about Sankey. He’s not going off the rails on a personal vendetta if the member schools aren’t involved.
They are defending the SEC as a conference and its ability to function.
Nobody has the details of what this vote discussion are about. Most suspect it is not to kick out LSU immediately right now.
It’s a failsafe to establish the rights of a conference v. local judges deciding the how the SEC can enforce rules.
Others are just trolling you because yall get so damn crazy about it.

What exactly did they bring on themselves by not even putting those players on the roster?

Not until the SEC filed a lawsuit. Probably would have been better if they had followed it right away and not wait until they were filed against.

I think it was pretty clear he was incompetent at his job when he added Texas and OU. Which required us to go to a 9 game schedule that will only hurt us in making the playoffs

If Kiffin says “we won’t roster them” in response to the SEC rule announcement… how would this have gone?
Does the SEC’s ability to function get threatened by the BR judge?
It’s a domino effect. Kiffin dragged everyone into the mud. LA Gov., LA Senator, LA AG., NCAA, SEC, Sankey, etc….
Just because they aren’t rostered or playing now, doesn’t mean that was the original plan. The “what did I do” looks too funny in hindsight.
As they saying goes: Play stupid games… win stupid prizes…
