I can understand that but Auburn fans seem to have a Jim Jones follower level of trust and belief in anyone and everyone associated with Auburn like Jonestown had in Jim Jones. I`ve never seen a fanbase go through so much public scrutiny and to a person believe even the insinuation of impropriety is impossible.

As of today after many months no actual proof or documents have been produced to validate the accusations. So I and others have chosen to take the stance of prove it.

Many AU fans here at TD have said it is possible, and as far as the JIM JONES reference it is false. I don't blindly follow anyone at Auburn and have come up with my arguments on my own based on information available. If found guilty myself and others would not continue to defend.

You and other fan bases have chosen to give a final verdict based on your bias and information full of innuendo. Because as you would say any rational person may harbor doubt, feelings of something had to happen, but nothing has come out to say without a doubt AU is guilty.

quote:

As afanbase you guys to a personseem to have the uncanny ability to totally ignore your past and think you are morally incapable of breaking NCAA rules
Again false. Most AU fans are very aware of the past and most realize any school is capable of breaking rules even Auburn. Especially here at TD.

I personally would be a nervous wreck if the allegations against auburn this offseason were being made against Alabama
This is how you would react and so it is required that everyone else react as you would. If they don't than you feel they are clueless, irrational, self righteous, disingenous, etc, etc.

And Sheridan is employed by USA Today. Big shite.

One is a handicapper whose picks are in USAToday that just so happens to be a Bama grad and one is journalist working for CBS sports. Even Sheridan would have to concede he is at least a 10 point dog to Doyel.

I would trust the sources of a Vegas insider over a journalist any day.

While the NCAA is investigating, maybe they should look at Sheridan...an NCAA sports hanicapper who has sources who know what's going on inside the NCAA. Or possibly even inside the NCAA.

Or look at their employees who are leaking information.

Sheridan should do his job and handicap the current investigations.

Can't wait for a used car salesman to give his two cents on the situation.

Can someone point me to a single article the guy has written??? Has his own publication the USATODAY run with the story? Why would he break it on FB instead of USATODAY?

Now for what he said or didn't say. It had enough IF statements to be completely bogus.... Until the NCAA issues specific allegations, Auburn fans would be foolish to get too worried and to believe it without fact.

I also find it interesting the amount of effort that the Tide fans are putting into reporting rumor and innuendo to the NCAA. I thought the
Bammers did not like that TennStud turned them in.

Compare LSU's NCAA violation record with those of Bama and Auburn! Auburn has never won anything w/o going or being on probation.

He said the odds were 50/50 that anything would be proven. You have to bet it straight up. No over/under
