Not the best framing, but the player is clearly in the gap and the LSU player moves over to "block" him.
If there was a gap, he would have been behind the lsu guys.

The out-of-nowhere gripe that Beamer expressed on Sunday night, though, was over the refs not calling taunting on LSU following South Carolina’s last-second missed kick. “For that crew to throw 22 flags and on the last play of the game,” Beamer said, “I think there’s two very clear instances of taunting that happened after the kick.”
Serious question. Can they throw a flag for something that occurs after the game is over?

The absolute cry fest from USC fans on this has been hilarious.
The only questionable call from their point of view was the offensive pass interference call, that was absolute BS for sure.
The free hit on Nuss after the pick is going to get called literally every time. You can not take free blind shots on a QB ever like that, period end of story there. The defensive player KNEW he fked up as soon as he did it because he threw his arms like "Oh not me not me". I mean way to make it even more obvious to anyone
The horsecoller call was also 100% correct, you cannot tackle someone like that these days, especially trying to sack a QB. Again, will get called every single time.
I wonder if Shane sent in USC leaping over the protective shield on the punt block and asking why that wasnt called. By rule instead of getting that block and an easy TD right after to go up by 3 scores at home, it would have put LSU on the the USC 44 yard line 1st and 10 instead still down just 10 in the 1st. I also cant imagine he sent in the the 5 yard delay of game penalty on us when our DL moved like we always do yet they false start and for like the 3rd fricking time this year we get that called on us. The refs clearly dont understand how to enforce this "new" rule at all. I've seen no difference in those being false starts (when they have this year a few times) vs. the times they are calling "delay of game" on us for moving the DLine sideways (not towards them) and the OL reacting.
Bottom line is there were egregiously bad calls both ways. USC fans can ignore the illegal punt block one all they want but that was HUGE early in the game and got you up by THREE scores at home. I wouldnt be crying about the refs if I just lost at home while getting up THREE scores. The blame should be placed elsewhere.

I need that for the "guns" celebration. Lacy got a penalty first game for a quick one towards an opponent. This game he struts right up to the camera and gives a long one.
But, pistols in the holsters celebration has been around for a long time.
So what is the rule?
I think aiming the guns at an opponent's head is why he got the penalty. Don't think that's ever been ok.

Nothing to defend. We moved on to UCLA. You think defending your team means multiple posts about the refs or does that make you look like a whiney bitch? Take the L. If it was reversed you would be “that’s football”. Sorry that we upset your Super Bowl. 20-2 last 22 meetings.

Yup. You're going to have to come back to Columbia so they can kick it again...
Of course they can't.

This was a bullshite call. The QB is no longer the QB when he goes head hunting the guy who picked him off. He is a defender.
One of three things happened with this call:
1. Some ref got paid.
2. Some ref had a bet on the game.
3. Some ref is grad or close relative of someone at LSU.
Straight up cheated USC.

The second: In the fourth quarter, Nick Emmanwori seemingly sealed the game with a 100-yard pick-6 but, on the return, Kennard forcefully shoved Nussmeier to the turf and he was called for unnecessary roughness. The Gamecocks received possession, but lost the points. “Any time there’s an interception, we tell our guys, ‘Find the quarterback, and make sure we get him blocked,’ ” Beamer said. “And it wasn’t vicious by any stretch of the imagination.”

Oh I have.
But what your fans aren't smart enough to figure out is, this is not what this diatribe is about.
It's about tainting the W...
If you look at the vast majority from the other fanbases, it's working.

In the long term, you might be right. But in the short term, as in this season, you can 100% change the narrative from "LSU won" to "The refs cheated SC and handed the game to LSU."
Simply read the posts in these threads if you don't believe me.

Congrats then on your morale victory. Like I said, reverse rolls and you would be taking a different kinda shite. Stop being a bitch, post less, move on, and try to have a good season. SC defense is legit.

"I've been told that this year in the SEC, celebrations are going to be allowed a little bit, but there's going to be a very clear emphasis on taunting," Beamer said. "For that crew yesterday to throw 22 flags and on the last play of the game, there are two very clear instances of taunting that happened after the kick, but no one decided to throw a flag on that one."
I'm sure they didn't notice the taunting because the instant the kick missed, the refs made a beeline for the locker room after that performance.

The SEC needs to axe the Autry Crew from the rotation.
They are complete arse and have been for years.
How a multibillion dollar industry could keep employing such incompetency is mind boggling. This isn't one poorly called game issue.
