Well, when I wrote that I was thinking that Alabama as a football program is above everyone else in the SEC, their fans should be as well. Tide fans ought to be above the petty squabbling over who is #2 and whatnot.
But now I see that you are truly insecure, and not above that, and I'm sorry about that.

In other words, bashing a team, it's fans, and it's history as a program is fun as long as the other side doesn't respond.
