We hate on bama because they're better than us at football. Is that what you want to hear? Is that your sole purpose in posting on secrant.com?
If so, good God do you need a life.
But that isn't true; Alabama has always been better than LSU at football.
LSU fans were just fine with Alabama and Alabama fans before Saban left Miami.
Coach Bryant beat LSU, it's fans, it's mascot, even it's ticket takers into complete and unequivocal submission in Red Stick for decades.
But, LSU fans just loved him and the coonie players would run over to shake his hand before games and Mike the Tiger(human one) would always, always make it a point to get a photo taken with him.
Hell, if anything, coonie nation adored Alabama and admired them and wanted to be like them; they didn't dislike them because they were better than them.
The nonsensical dislike of anything related to Alabama, by coonies and the Coonie Nation, is a very new phenomenon.
No, this swamp-bred ignorance is all because LSU fans all support the Miami Dolphins and feel like Saban didn't have a right to search for, and accept, a job without their hick permission.
He left Miami high and dry and they hate him, and therefore Bama fans, because of it.

It's just blatant now. a troll with nothing to call his own except for his beloved Alabama football-the meaning of life. I hope you don't have kids. Any fruitful life under your direction is pretty much hopeless. Rawl tahd y'all.
Whoa, that is getting a little personal isn't it? Maybe you are taking this all a bit too seriously. It just a message board, man.

Hell, Charlie Mac was one of Coach Bryant's boys!

All I read was "bama football is the only reason I don't kill myself and my family because without it what's the point?" Keep trying.

Be honest, do you wish that maybe you were a Bama fan?

oh yeah you're totally just providing much needed information. Nothing else.
Why such the strong connection to the Dolphins for LSU fans?

Dietzel and Hallman too. I'm afraid it's a lost cause, LSU fans don't know their own team and think college football began when Saban arrived in Red Stick.

If they had just let Coach Bryant play some of our home games in BR like he wanted to, I'm sure he would have looked upon them more kindly.

While I hate posters that do nothing but antagonize I have to admire your tenacity.
what happens when LSU beats bama in football? Maybe this year, maybe not, but undoubtedly soon...Les has already done it 3 times. You really think it will NEVER happen again? If I were to guess, I'd imagine another thread from a temporarily bitter, temporarily hurt fan who can't find any meaning in it unless they can rationalize and desperately try to prove to others (but mostly themselves) that their passion in life still has merit.
And since you asked...
I like Nick Saban and wish he'd never left LSU. I think we'd have at least 3 more natties by now had he stayed and it kills me that he came back to college football as Bama's (of all teams) coach. That said, Les Miles is just as capable of winning a nattie every single year. He's quirky, confusing, frustrating at times, but he's gone toe to toe with Nick every single year and helped deliver the most hard-fought, physical, nail-biting football game of the year and it's proof the man knows how to lead a team against the best. Why even get mad when THAT'S the coach of your team?
So far I'd say you're a boring stereotype. Actually be objective without back-handed BS and I'll be happy to talk.

Some people you just can't reason with, no matter how reasonable you are being.
Alabama playing a home game or two in Red Stick would have elevated their program's prestige to heights unknown to them at that time.

Let's not discuss things that are fantasy-land material.
LSU has once again found itself lacking the physical and mental wherewithal to compete with Alabama.
This is a thread about Alabama's NC's, you are off-topic.

Can you elaborate on that? Why did it upset coonie nation to the extent that it did when he arrived at Alabama?
There was no rivalry, still isn't in Alabama fan's eyes, between the two schools.
I understand that you all felt like your wife was cheating on you or something but, why the added animosity?
I can easily understand if a successful former Alabama coach left the NFL to coach in Opelika or say, a former Michigan coach left the NFL to coach at Ohio State.
But LSU and Alabama? I don't get it.

No conditions, okay. Don't lay out guidelines as to how someone can communicate. Take it or leave it.
