Oh great. Thanks. That means that every team will know exactly what they have to do to make the tourney. It also means that the seeds are very predictable from 1 to 66. Could you post this objective criteria for me? I can't find it anywhere.

If you look at things that way each topic ever discussed, on a message board covering amateur football, could be viewed as meaningless and absurd.

I could care less if Bama has 10 or 20 NC's. In the modern era, LSU has more than held its own against Bama.
I'm curious. How did you cope with Bama football from 1993-2008?
You remind me of a bama grad I knew about a decade ago who made his wife tape the games and only replay them if they won.

FWAA(Grantland Rice) are recognized by the NCAA as major selectors. There is no such thing as a consensus selector.
Look at the image I posted for major selectors, look at the image you posted for consensus national champions.
But, still, you and I and everyone here and in football land knows that the AP and the Coaches Poll/UPI were it for the period of time, 1964, that we are discussing.
The Grantland Rice trophy is nice and it has a little bit of prestige and recognition but, not like the granddaddies.
So, Imma let Arkansas keep that trophy but, right there, that team right there (looking at Alabama) won what we all consider the NC in '64.
