Ain't happening unless the SEC could get a deal as good as the one they have now on rent.

They pay the city of Bham $1 a year in rent.

Move it elsewhere. That $1 billion TV pie drops down to $995,000.

Haleyville, AL. The geographical center of the SEC.

I wonder how many of you think that the SEC moving out of Bham will magically cause Alabama and Auburn to start losing more

Which fan base in which state has a history of shooting people over football games? The answer is alabama. You're just another ignorant gump.

Not sure what that has to do with city-based crime rates, but the fact that your response indicates I touched a nerve is seriously amusing to me. Did you think I was targeting a fan base with my comment? In Memphis? LOL

"Alabama is a huge wasteland"

And Louisiana is a disgustingly ugly and dirty state environmentally. Outside of a few interesting swamp and tidal basins like the Achafalaya (sp?) Swamp and a few areas of South Louisiana like New Orleans and Lafayette, it is an incredible ugly state nature wise. Alabama has natural diversity and biodiversity that sh##s all over Louisiana's. Mountains (even a couple with suprisingly different weather from the valley below), caves, canyons, abundant waterfalls, 4th most freshwater waterways in the country, beaches, better golf courses, better hunting, etc. Louisiana has better offshore and inshore fishing and better duck hunting than Alabama and that's it. I do love the fun loving and rich culture of New Orleans and South Louisiana though but the state is basically the commode for the Eastern half of the U.S.

I'd say lay off the meth if you think Alabama fans make pilgrimages to the SEC offices. I can't tell if you just suffer from a chemical imbalance or a series of genetic flaws.

"Haleyville, AL. The geographic center of the SEC"

...and the city where Guthries was founde. The original chicken place that Canes and Zaxbys all patterned the menu and "secret" sauce after.

What was "delusional" about what I said?. Everything I said about the overall natural beauty of Louisiana and Alabama is true.

I also think Nashville is a better home for the SEC than Bham.

Nashville. It's clean, safe, and a is a helluva good time on weekend nights. Slive could hit up Tin Roof and then follow up with a night cap tit show in Printer's Alley. You can't go wrong with the Music City.

Hell, Nashville is fun on weeknight. I would put "Teen Roof" way down on my list of nightspots, but it aight. And as much as I hate to break it to you......Brass Stables in Printers Alley is closing. :(

Also, the new Sounds stadium downtown would be great for the baseball tourney.

Your statement is correct. No team has a monopoly in Nashville. Alabama and Tennessee lead the way, but Vandy, Ole Miss, Auburn and Kentucky all have big fanbases here. No team enjoys a majority.

Ha, this is an obvious troll, but there are far more UT fans and alums than any other SEC school.
