Everyone is concerned about Jimbo. We know his history. He’s good. He won a championship. But Aggy fans know him and hear about him every day.
I just don’t think you fire a guy with that history and potential since they are paying him what they are.
He’s staying.

Real talk. Jimbo is going to hear all the frustration and have to do something in the offseason. OL coach will likely be sacrificed this year.
Jimbo has the excuse of the QB injury this year. Probably gets 2 more years to see what he can do with his handpicked starting QB in Weigman.
Max Johnson got his chance. Didn’t perform well enough to win against the better teams.
Connor Weigman is the clear starter next year.
Once this elite recruiting class is gone in 2 years, then the buyout is more reasonable.
The A&M job is attractive to coaching candidates because the coach is given top resources and a long leash.

Sheesh, that's a relatively easy schedule next year. They miss UGA, Bama, Tennessee, and Ole Miss.
