Serious question....Do Bama/Auburn fans really think Paul Finebaum is funny?

Cause he is way more of an embarrassing joke than Stingray is.

Not as embarrassing as making a response thread.

The entertainment comes when serious fans get rustled by him.

You can enjoy him if you don't take it all so seriously.

He's actually his best when he interviews people.

Even worse, making a response thread to an LSU fan by targeting Bama/Auburn fans.

I think he's hilarious. He's so awkward. He always looks like he's about to stroke out too.

I have a confession to make.

Until recently, I had never actually listened to Finebaum's show ... mainly because I don't like him.

But ... I'd heard about "Tammy" on the radio, on here, etc.

For years now, I've just assumed that Tammy is a GUMP.

I happened to listen to Pawl's show a few weeks ago ... only to find out that Tammy is actually a Barner.

You were thinking about Phyllis from Mulga

He is Jerry Springer entertainment without the fighting midgets.

Being the nerd that I am, I read your thread title all the way to the end and realized that, not being a Bama/Auburn fan, the question didn't apply to me or demand an opinion on my part.

This. His show was the best when it was still on AM.

Paul really wasn't funny, but the way he conducted the chaos around all his zany callers made it funny.

I don't think he's funny anymore. Back in the day when he was still on local B-ham radio he let his (non-existent) hair down a little more. I feel like ESPN has made him tone it down a lot.

He is the Jerry Springer of sports talk radio which used to be entertaining but has gotten old, imo.

I agree... many years ago he got progressively worse and when he got a little national attention that's when it became full on jerry springer style. I don't want him on SEC network unless they put his show on at 3am-5am.
