What about all the NFL talent they lost from 2012?

that doesn't change the fact that guys like Jones, Jernigan, and that secondary are NFL talents... that's not to say JP didn't do a very good job in a short amount of time in Tallahassee... but his accomplishments need to be taken into context.

The talent gap for UGA next year will not exist like it did for FSU this year... pruitt will work his butt off in recruiting, though.

D line doing well = Haggin. Not Stoops or Pruitt.

He shut out Auburn's offense in the second half.

Timmy Jernigan would be a beast for any coach in the country.

FSU for 1 year coaching 1st rounders like Jernigan, Joyner, and Christian Jones.

None are projected 1st rounders.

Don't forget all the guys he had to replace on D after 2012.

Yeah I did. Most coaches could do pretty well working with Timmy Jernigan, Christian Jones, Lamarcaus Joyner and co.

Because of Jeremy Pruitt?

UGA does not have the defensive talent of Florida State, so there is nothing to be worried about.

Be careful not to confuse him before a big game by serving asparagus with the pregame meal.

Again? They still are. Even factoring in the miracle pass we are 6/8 the past 8 years.

Who's to say they ever stopped being Richt's bitch? Richt needed a mulligan on DC. He talked with JHC and Trigga Tray before 4th and Grantham and said "look, guys, I know this sounds crazy and it's gonna hurt but if you wanna get that fat frick on the sideline you are gonna have to do something for me..."

Now we have Pruitt. And we will win 5 straight national titles.

And there's not a god damn thing the gus bus can do about it.

You're missing the point. We have this type talent on campus at UGA right now and return 10 starters. It doesn't matter if he had a ton of talent or not because he'll never have a shortage of talent at UGA, especially the way he recruits.

Okay, I'll play a long and pretend that UGA has the same talent on defense that FSU had this year.

It's still a whole different animal trying to defend against SEC offenses than in the ACC. Clemson and Duke were the best 2 offenses he faced this year.

Pruitt also inherited the most talented defense in the Country, so it's tough to say how good of a DC he was this past year.

You guys replaced almost your entire D.

Most people I've spoken with since it was announced today believe JP came out on top of this deal. Just another head-banger for UGA
