Les Miles was 114-34 in a much tougher conference and y'all couldn't wait to run him out of town.
Not quite, Les Miles was 28-21 and hadn't won a NC and coached a Heisman winner at that point.
The coach we ran out of town was 10-8 in the SEC over the last 3 years.

What is it about him that I'm missing?
The LSU defense has been fantastic this year, but has been overshadowed by an inept, inconsistent Les Miles offense that is still lingering around. LSU needs a coach that can field an efficient, functional offense that isn't a huge liability and that will keep Aranda as DC.
Fisher has ties with LSU and has proven to field good offenses. If he is willing to keep Aranda, he is the man for the job.

Here's a gump analogy for you.
Why would you prefer a cold Sam Adams IPA to a luke warm Keystone Lite that was opened last night, sipped by a sweaty-lipped fat man sporting a massive cold sore, and used as an ash tray?

Offensive minded coach who generally has good QBs, something we have lacked for almost 10 years. Pair him with a good DC and he can win big here.
