Serious question what is Bama's QB situation looking like?

I know they got a tranfer, but haven't heard anything other than that.

The media will blow whoever they have cause it's Bama, regardless of how his performance is. They will be exposed at some point.

He is guaranteed to be a first year starter and therefore guaranteed to win the NC this year based on recent history.

Coker is expected to be a lot like McElroy (just not as ginger) and just take care of the ball and perhaps throw it a little bit more.
After him we have Blake Sims who will either hand off the ball or do roll-out pass plays.
Then you have Bateman who showed some poise and a good arm during Aday and Cornwell who should redshirt.
IMO, if Coker goes down or can't get it done we should put in Bateman and just go through the growing pains.

Coker has a much stronger arm then Greg and is more of an athlete than anyone we've had under Saban. Going to be interesting to see how much they let him loose.

I'm more worried about Bama's 2015 QB situation after Coker goes pro early in 2014.

Both teams have question marks at QB.
LSU looks to have the more stable OL while Bama appears to have the better WR/TE corps.
At the end of the year I think you will see Bama with a higher comp % (due to playing more ball control) and LSU with more yards/TDs due to throwing it more.

For the life of me, I cannot understand the hype surrounding Coker. I mean what is everyone going off of? His lackluster clean-up time at FSU?
