As an alum, You’re halfway correct. Add in Texas kids that couldn’t get into the big schools in Texas, Atlanta kids who couldn’t get into Georgia, and St Louis kids. I’m from small town Alabama but 75% of the kids I knew were from Texas, St Louis, Atlanta or Nola.

I loved the new orleans kids at ole miss. They all went ATO when DEKE got kicked off campus.
