We are going to take LSU's place in the SEC West as the main competitor to Bama every year. You guys can battle it out with the grinders for third.

I'm not claiming we're LSU yet, but our defense isn't bad. It's what, fifth in the SEC in yardage? Fourth in points?
We had one bad half against La. Tech (the #2 offense in college football) and people think we have an awful defense. We did exactly the same thing to MSU that Bama did.

I hope Bama rips ya'll a new one on Saturday. Seriously. I'm proud of ya'll for coming into the SEC and competing but saying you are on or near Bama's level is delusional IMO.

I agree. A&M needs to improve on defense. We need more depth and to improve against the pass.
What's your barometer for a good defense? Bama any good?
Lsu had 435 yards of Total Offense against Bama....
....only 316 against A&M.

I would say any given game when the offense isn't going too well, to be able to carry your team to a win despite that. IMO
