As lsu fans continue to melt everywhere it’s important to bring espns breaking revelation to light.

Zero, they are now zero, they said if only lsu would have kept the game close there might have been an outside chance

But nope, it’s zero

So what? In August we had no chance too, and Aggy was a heavy favorite. Can't wait to see the 2023 projections.

Let's not forget it took Michigan a decade to recover from their loss to Appalachian State.

Kept it close my behind.

That's a loss to a terrible football team. And a third loss. No way they were gonna get in without a win vs. ATM.

A&M fans care bc the only time the playoff and A&M are mentioned is when A&M was the spoiler

We were a lot closer in 2020 than LSU is right now.

From the LSU people I’ve been around I think the melt is over. The A&M loss stings but games like that keep you honest and they realize how much this team over performed this season. A&M fans don’t seem to be melting much over this season which is cause for concern. They now are happy with the team because they ended LSUs playoff hopes but they are fine with being two games under .500 just a few seasons before big daddy Texas joins the league. A&M made a great decision moving to the SEC but in 11 seasons they’ve regressed from where they began and squandered their head start on Texas. The SEC moving to 16 teams is going to bury the lesser teams and program's like A&M will move to the fringe where Vandy and Mizzou now sit while those teams go forgotten.

A&M went from preseason #6 to no chance of playoffs
LSU went from unranked to a very respectable season
Poor Aggies, still searching for relevance in football

For most sane people it ended sunday/Monday. It helps having the SEC title game to look forward to

This matchup always had intrigue as talent wise, LSU wasn’t the best team in the west and TAMU wasn’t the worst. Stout defense has been the X factor for LSU and outside of the first 2 second half drives they didn’t show up.

Except that LSU has already made the playoffs and won it all and Aggie still hasn't even made the playoffs...you act like aTm's history in football is anywhere close to the level of LSU

It's like in 2005 when Texas won the national championship and beat A&M in College Station 40-29 despite Vince having one of his worst games in college.

"Oh yea... well... we kept Vince from winning the Heisman trophy that year, you meanie sips!!! " (they didn't even play in a bowl game that year, either)

It's the only thing they have to show for themselves. They know they'll live and die without ever seeing the aggies win anything of note. But every now and then they'll treat another team as their super bowl and try to spoil it for them, and if they succeed, they'll convince themselves they're national champions
