Not a shock as you are ignoring so many other posts so well. How about that VOL game that has you too traumatized to discuss?
I rarely check in on this thread and generally just respond to the last post. I know you can’t understand this but back in the CFN days forums were my down time because I was generally in the middle of nowhere for months at a time doing very boring stuff. But now I don’t need to spend too much time on them.
Besides, the sidebar we had wasn’t relevant to the topic, you ended up agreeing in principle that your statement was wrong and by the time you were done moving the goalposts you were at Bennett stayed in most games and was still passing in the 4th quarter in far more games than not. And that he had limited passes per game in comparison to actual QB1s. The only disagreement we have now is the quality of UGA WRs (majority of UGA fans admit they are average to below average) and Bennett (I still remember UGA fans believing he was above average) and the fact (verified) that he’s short, has an average arm, isn’t athletic enough to overcome the lack of height and average arm.

You know that has been officially debunked but you carry on the narrative anyway.

I make many statements, so you are going to need to clarify which exact one…….
What words did I use that you think are factually wrong?
How flawed was your response to those words?

Kirby Smart micromanaging the O is the equivalent of no OC Never said no OL, Pittman recruited very well at that spot for y’all. UGA doesn’t have a QB. That’s not even up for debate. UGA hasn’t recruited well at WR is years. And even when they did find talent it never panned out while at UGA. They were either suspended, injured, or underwhelming while at UGA Y’all did find a TE. But just 1. Washington never was a factor for the O, and the head case transfer from LSU was even less of a positive. That O wasn’t explosive, and the fact you insist on pretending otherwise is an indictment on your ignorance.
This is delusion, and you should be put in a home.
No offense with these characteristics could be even moderately successful.
ETA: How come no one can cover our bad players, and how do they keep getting drafted?

Holy shite, how can one person be so wrong on literally everything they say??

Washington dropped like a rock, never produced at UGA was a glorified OL guy
George Pickens was drafted in 2022 but his career at UGA was very meh, in 3 seasons he averaged
450 yards a season and peaked out under 800 yards.
Terry Godwin is out of the league
Riley Ridley Is a bust
Mecole Hardman Is a non factor
Javon Wims Out of the league/never was a factor
That’s your UGA WRs that were drafted. 1 might have a future but he’s a headcase

Look at the players who started spring practice. How has your roster changed from then to now? And think how it will change from now to game week.
We can all be pleased with where we are but I won’t bet the house payment on how the wins and losses turn out this fall because who knows?

Yeah.
UGA ran for 44 rushing TDs.
That is about 30 highlight reels where scouts are looking at Darnell Washington and screaming "got damn! That SOB is crushing folks."
That isn't to mention Washington's plus catch radius and plus hands.
Darnell isn't as polished on boxing out defenders as a receiver his size as he should be.
But that isn't why he dropped in the draft. Medical flags. The best ability is availability. Sometimes, nfl GMs overthink it.

Ole Smokeyone has had a bad case of butt hurt since that day in Athens.
What Smokey ought to be really pissed about is that debacle that happened when they played the chickens. I was embarrassed for them just watching it, and I don't like either team.

I mean I know lil Smokey was obsessed with UGA, but I think he actually believes the drivel he spouts on here.
There are only two possible explanations. 1. He is super old/dementia and has no idea what is going on.
Or 2. He went to a game in Athens, and the entire UGA team ran a train on his old lady. I feel like this is more likely.

He will ignore answering any question that will prove him wrong, and will instead repeat irrational nonsense that is either imaginary, or has already been proven wrong.
For examples he is still repeating this:
quote:
And that he had limited passes per game in comparison to actual QB1s.
Even though his own “I SWEAR he was gonna won the heisman” QB had less passes per game than stetson:
Bennett 30.3
Hooker 29.9

If so, that’s very sad, but not as sad as it would be if he simply enjoys trolling by positing dumb things over and over. Either way, it’s a sad story.

Vols are a running team…. They averaged 40+ rushes attempts a game.

Did you ask questions? You implied UGA WRs are better than I believe by citing NFL draft numbers. I showed that none have panned out with the jury still out on Pickens.
Since 2017 UGA has 2 guys still in the league, in that same span you have:
V Jones
M Callaway
J Jennings
Plus 2 more 3rd round rookies for this year. So 5 guys vs 1 1/2.
As to covering them, last year UGAs best WR averaged 50 yards a game. The next best was at 22 a game. By contrast Hyatt averaged 107 a game, McCoy averaged 51, Keyton 43, Tillman 69.
Maybe UGA WRs were outstanding to you because UGA has never really had decent WRs. Isn’t the single season receiving yards barely 1,000 yards?

Which day? I’ve likely been in Athens more than you. I’ve UGA get blown out and blown the Vols. Absolutely zero butthurt on my part. A better explanation is homers don’t like it when you look to closely at their team and don’t see what you want there to be.

This is what someone often says when they know the sidebar proves them wrong.
The drastic shift in offensive strategy during the vol game is very relevant because it destroys so many of your narratives at once.
Since You literally do not understand the simple concept of “killing clock”, that’s another reason why you run from that game.
