OU, a Georgia pass in the next to last possession in the 4th (4 passes in 3 possessions in the second half)
Samford, Georgia pass in the last possession (4 Stetson passes in the second half)
UofSC Georgia pass in the next to last possession (Bennett had 2 passes in the second half, the team was still passing)
Kent Bennett was throwing passes well into the 4th quarter (second to last full possession had multiple)

Alabama has always been acknowledged as the least knowledgeable fan base in sports but you really have to respect the push that TN is making this year. They don't have the raw numbers to overtake those Bama trailer parks but damn what an effort.

It began with Bennett didn’t play the second half. Then UGA shut down the O in the second half. Then it was Bennett never played in the 4th quarter except Mizzou, then UGA didn’t throw a pass in the 4th quarter, then it was Bennett didn’t throw but 4 passes in the 4th quarter, now it’s Bennett only threw passes in 4 or 6 games in the 4th quarter.
4th quarter of state he threw passes, Kentucky Bennett was in but ineffective to end the 3rd throwing passes, LSU as the 3rd ended was still throwing passes.
So all but 2 games UGA was passing in the 4th, all but 4 games Bennett was passing with less than 1:30 in the 3rd (in the last 3 possessions of the game)
By the way leaving Bennett, was that to juice his numbers? Or to protect Bowers the only legit O player, or because the QB room looks like garbage when the lights come on?

Looking forward to the season, especially when Kirby’s squad hangs 50 in Neyland.
ETA: one of the biggest mistakes of Kirby’s career so far was taking his foot off the gas in the UT game last year in the rain. If we’d have kept throwing it could have been a TCU-type beat down.

There goes Smokey moving the goalposts again. He specifically said Bennett passes in the 4th quarter. DJ proved him wrong, he instantly changed it to team passes in the second half. His UGA obsession has destroyed his already tiny brain. I wonder if he likes getting owned on every single point he tries to make??

This game is still a nightmare for smokeyone. It bothers him so much that he never acknowledges it’s permanence in his brain.

Try going back about 3 months where this started. Between DJ about three others the goalposts moved 5-6 times. I believe they settled on Bennett only threw passes in the 4th qrt a little over half the games.
As an aside don’t trust DJ to source this kind of thing, he has zero idea what he’s looking at when it comes to,well, any of this stuff honestly, but specifically play by play stuff.

So far 1. But the CFN.com board was dying and I left well before the end.
1 died because the owner stopped paying the bill(ugly divorce)
1 was bought and changed
The last one I was on before here wasn’t as active as here and got just stupid liberal over Covid stuff.
I really miss the CFN one and left for almost a year hoping my absence would end the silliness. It didn’t, the board was shut down. DJ and meansory (What every it’s name is) stayed and blamed me and Crunchy for the demise. And that’s a large reason I walk away from these threads (and get accused of running away). After a couple of exchanges.

That’s an absolute lie. It moved from Bennett didn’t play the second half/UGA shut down the O in the second half/UGA didn’t throw in the 4th quarter/ Bennett didn’t throw in the 4th qrt/ Bennett only threw 4 passes in the 4th qrt/ and ended on Bennett only threw passes in just over half the games with less a 1:30 to go in the 3rd.

We did a fundraiser to keep the server going a couple of times and some folks offered to buy the site but no one could find Benny. That was a solid group of posters back then.
