First Step is an incentive program that can lop off a lot of time.

If you got a 39 month sentence then shouldn't you be eligible for parole after serving 50% + 1 day?

Going in on a Friday? No bueno. You should have negotiated a self-surrender for earlier in the week.

Free food and internet in prison. It's like a Hilton but paid for.

You can pay for protection. A family member will have to pay the protector’s family and keep paying. Good luck, someone I went to college with is going away for a long time and is in county waiting next steps for a federal crime. He’s basically dead or will be and probably won’t get out alive.

I heard the food in jail is better than a tailgate party in the grove. Soo...you got the win coming

Maybe another round of covid will happen. They released everyone that was on medication during covid.
I know a bookie that got released to home confinement during covid and hasn't had to go back.

This is strange to me.
Federal sentencing is done in months. State sentencing is done in years.
If you’re going federal, you wouldn’t have an option for getting done 18 months early. If you were state you would have been sentenced to 3 or 4 years. With the early parole option.
I am a very gullible person, but I call bull on this post.
