We didn't do that at all. Bama made the final 4 that season. We don't care what your team did or didn't do.
I have only seen people mention Auburn's Yale loss in response to stupid claims that Bama had an "easy road" in the NCAA tourney. Such a thing does not exist.

Is it really comparable?
Alabama made the final four last year while Auburn lost to Yale. Is it really dick riding if your team advances to the final four while your rival loses in the first round to Yale? Alabama went 1-1 against Auburn as well - not like we needed to celebrate someone else beating them because Alabama couldn’t.
LSU has missed the tournament in back to back years while everyone else is making it. Willy is the definition of a dick rider because his team is shite.

I would counter with Alabama has won the double twice in five years. I’m sorry Auburn couldn’t match that.
If Auburn makes the final four today, I’ll give credit where it’s due. But Alabama’s success the last five years has eclipsed Auburn.
