If State finishes 40-21 winning the SEC tourney, beating UK, LSU, Ark, and say USCe in the finals I don't see how we couldn't host.

We're 20 RPI right now. Let's say we won three more games against Kentucky, USC, and one more game. Figure in what our attendance will be. They will pick us. Mark that shite down. Is Templeton still on the committee?

The thing is they don't put as much emphasis in tourneys as they do it the regular season. It can save your team and get you a birth into a regional, but they weigh the regular season more when considering hosts.
*For example, A&M won the Big 12 tourney last year finished with a RPI of 7 and gave the National seed to Texas, even though they lost and had a worse RPI. You just never know what goes through the selection committees minds.

I think y'all will be one of the most dangerous 2 seeds in the tournament, but I can't see y'all hosting regardless.

I think it depends on how many pitches he threw and how good he feels.
