It was pretty crazy from my perspective but if I had to guess it's because the team started to really fizzle/wear down. Even so, Josh Richardson has been a truly one man show and has done so despite never playing point before. To me, that says even more about his talent because he basically has a target on his back every game and few can stop him.

Well you know how I feel about it. All about family and a great deal of fun to me. It's still there because I have so many friends and family in Kentucky but it know it's simmered down in national importance lately even though you'd never guess that by the way our fanbases travel and yell like the natty is on the line whenever either team plays.

And for the illionth time, we need to bring back the keg/barrel and tbh, I'd love to reintegrate both football and bball for the possession/signing of it. Hell do what they did during Prohibition and mark it ICE WATER if that is what it takes. I don't mean to be insensitive but the incident was unrelated to the game and it's time. It hurt that young people lost their lives but out shared trophy never contributed. The only thing that might symbolized our two states and the competition we have outside of sports more is some sort of horse trophy and that would just be weird, imo.

P.S. forgive any grammar gemlins or typos - today is my bday and the alcohol I had for dinner is making me a tad bit tipsy.

In the women's game you can usually wait for it to begin in the early part of the 2nd like clockwork. In the men's they're more random (sometimes they start early in the 2nd but other times they don't call anything till the last 5 mins). It's insane, imo, and depends on the crews. But almost always at some point in the 2nd they get whistle happy which wouldn't be so bad if it weren't so different from the 1st.
