Let's also not forget Lattimore put up those numbers with no passing game to take the eyes off him. Defenses knew what we were going to do just about ever play and he still got yards. He basically was our offense and that > Davis.

Arky fans are full of it, if they think Kniles Davis should all the sudden be the most feared RB in the country or SEC.

No way in hell a guy who had one breakout season and spent the next on the bench is more feared than a proven running back such as Marcus Lattimore.

Hell, i think Eddy Lacy will have just a good of a year as Kniles will have.

I guess we'll see this next year. I just know he didn't do that well against our defense and our defense wasn't that great either.

Dude I don't even think Lattimore played in the Arkansas game. Or he was out in the second half, I can't exactly remember.

He twisted his knee mid-way through the 2nd quarter and stayed on the sidelines. Garcia was our leading rusher that game, if I'm not mistaken

I'm talking about 2010 stats. Since knile didn't play at all last year, I was comparing the 2010 stats for each, as I posted.
Knile
Lattimore

Yeah. As QCC said Lattimore went out in the 2nd quarter of the Arkansas game in 2010.

I had forgotten that he didn't play the entire game, however, what are your thoughts on the overall 2010 stats?

I remembered him having great games against Georgia and Florida in 2010.

God you are dumb.

Knile led the SEC in rushing 2 seasons ago (and did so in what was basically the last 7 games) so yes, he should be feared.

Using your logic, Marcus shouldn't be feared because he had an injury last season as well.

I think Knile is the better back and I think he will have a better season than Marcus, despite playing in a much more difficult division against much better defenses overall.

The fact that Sam Montgomery isn't on the list makes it a terrible list.

The last 7 games for Knile, three of which were ranked SEC teams and one coming to one of the top defenses in the nation in Ohio State:

1028 yards
6.425 ypc
12 td

If he averaged this for the entire season:

1900 yards
22 td

Y'all had Mallett who defenses would have to respect. No one could stack the box the way they do against Lattimore. I would take Lattimore over Davis anyday.

I have to agree. I hope they both stay healthy.

And that's fine. You can keep making excuses for why Lattimore is better, and Knile will go out and yet again have a better season than him.

Oh spare me the East vs West crap. Davis will play one tougher defense than Lattimore will.

Georgia, Florida, Mizzou > Auburn, MSU, A&M.

Lattimore is EASILY the better athlete of the two, and blind homerism will always tell you otherwise. Davis will be in Lattimore's shadow all year.

They had Alshon in 2010, so we can use the same argument. Nobody stacked the box on Lattimore.

I'm still waiting for you to show me actual statistics that back this claim.

Making excuses about who our QB was has nothing to do with his yardage numbers. There isn't an asterisk next to Knile's SEC-leading rushing stats that says "Please note that Ryan Mallett was the QB at this time." Knile led the SEC in rushing before we has injured, and obviously out-performed Lattimore against overall more difficult defenses. That is what we have to go off of and that is what I am using to make my conclusion.

So it is actually quite ironic that you call me a homer when you don't have anything to back up your claim other than YOUR blind homerism.

It's not my fault you don't understand how football works. Lattimore did more with less. We can't all have a good OL.

Even other fanbases know that Lattimore > Davis. Only you Arkansas fans try and claim otherwise.

Less? Less what? Didn't y'all win the east in 2010?
