I thought about picking them, but I like the Mizzou offense at home.

Have you seen what Missouri have done lately? I mean they have improved a lot since the beginning of last year regular season. Firing the DC was the key to the turn around. But the real deal is Missouri was able to continue to improve on defense since there will be not much change on defense and the players will not have to learn new system. On the offensive side of the ball Missouri got an upgrade of an OC and will not be all out on air raid. Look what Washington State head coach is similar to Josh Heupel air raid offense. That does not work against good defense. Again it was predictable. That is why I am very happy with Heupel left Missouri but not right before the big hate on Texas in a bowl game.

Why not Florida State vs Virginia Tech as an OOC game?

I agree. However, he will make up for it in week 2 when everyone on this board has a chance to pick between Miss State @ Kansas State. Everyone will pick KSU so that's a game as many people will get wrong. Season will have just gotten started.

Honestly, there is no rhyme or reason when it comes to our OOC picks. We throw together 5-6 games that might have meaning (Big rivalry, top 25 match up, etc). Then everyone just sort of picks the top 2.

This shows that you don't follow the particular game, Auburn has stepped up in multiple ways (especially with the offensive line and all the freshman showed out).

Gus grows every year.

Auburns defense will shut down the Washington offense.

Washingtons TE Hunter Bryant will impact them, along with a big question mark if their OL Trey Adams will return for the opener.

I mean I just read but no big deal. A lot of concerns with people is Auburns O- line. I suggest going and reading about Auburns Fall camp. Probably won't, but doesn't shock me.

Gus has lost 4 of 5 bowl games.

12-2
8-5
7-6
8-5
10-4

That doesn't look like a coach that is growing.
