Well I guess this means that Atlanta isn't a "shithole" after all since they're a host site, too.

Bragging about extreme income disparity is a weird flex. Most people living there are either barely getting by or are supported by the state. Thanks to the idiotic riots, so many NYPD personnel have quit and street crime has exploded. The streets are infested with trash and overrun by junkies and criminals, and public amenities are barely usable anymore.

That's Elle Shoe's alter. He still cries about John Rocker being a big meanie.

Please spread the word that Nashville is the most boring place on Earth. Do your part and help keep people away from it.

Regurgitating NY Post talking points after disparaging the NY Post is an even weirder flex

I don't understand why Tiger Droppings is so irrationally retarded with anything involving Atlanta. "It's a shithole, we need to move the SEC title game to a place that has an even higher violent crime rate!"

My bullshitting this thread and obvious bias aside, I do think it's a great city and I'm proud of it. Not the best in the world and we have our problems, but it's a great town.

I'm shooting the shite, too; no hard feelings. It's just message board goofin'. I do like KC. I also appreciate you beating the Filthadelphia scum.

I can guess why...

You probably can, too

I haven’t cried once about Rocker

Couldn’t care less about him except that the 99 Braves couldn’t even get a single win against the Damn Skankees in the World Series that year

That’s the only issue I have with him

It's irrational though because many of those same posters still put NOLA up on a pedestal even though it's even blacker.

Oh frick that- it's personal experience. I lived in Astoria for almost 3 years. I liked it the first year I lived there, but I watched things gradually go downhill in my neighborhood after COVID. Yeah, I know that's not really the city's fault as every place in America suffered from the COVID fallout in some fashion, but the city's indifference toward its problems irked me. Oh well- I don't live there anymore.

Atlanta has its own problems, but it is WAY cleaner and safer than New Orleans.

Nashville will overtake Atlanta as the premiere southern city over the next decade.

In 10 years? Not in 250. Atlanta is, by any measure, somewhere between the fastest growing metro areas and the tenth. Nashville ain’t in the top 10 in any category. Charlotte is outpacing Nashville and is closer to Atlanta in terms of growth but at the breakneck growth in that area it would take a couple of hundred years for Charlotte to catch Atlanta. Atlanta is the financial, technology, transportation and federal government gateway to the entire SE. Nashville has the recording industry which is about 10% bigger than the film industry in Atlanta….and the film industry in Atlanta is the 10 th largest industry in Atlanta. Atlanta is a city, Nashville is a town. Atlanta is a regional economic and industrial hub and Nashville is a spoke….

Only cuz it’s a hub. Nobody is traveling to go to atl.

Strange then that Atlanta has consistently ranked somewhere in the top 10 most visited cities in North America, ranks in the top 5 of overnight visitors in the US and 4th as the most visited city by foreign travelers. This has been true for about 45 years. All you motherfrickers spend a long weekend in Atlanta at least every couple of years…. It is the economic and industrial hub of the region….

Well ATL is certainly a 'travel hub' due to the airport but, there is VERY LITTLE as far as restaurant/bar/entertainment scene in the stadium vicinity and that is what the attending fans prefer....it's a given that the SEC admins. don't give a rats arse about that and the almighty $/good ole boys' network will over-ride common sense as ALWAYS !

Here's facts-

For the last 20 years, here are the opponents in the SEC CG.

Next to their names, is my judgement on whether or not Atlanta is convenient as a venue, as opposed to Nashville.

Georgia - Convenient
LSU - Draw
Georgia - Convenient
Alabama - Convenient

Florida - Draw
LSU - Draw
Georgia - Convenient
Alabama - Convenient
Georgia - Convenient

Auburn - Convenient

Mizzou - Nashville (debatable, long travel regardless)

Tenn - Nashville

Arkansas - Draw

Tennessee - Nashville

Of the 40 teams who have participated in the SECCG over the last 20 years, four teams could have considered Nashville to be more convenient.
