Taking this one step further…
There are only 3 SEC teams who will fail to make the NCAA Tournament: Texas A&M (RPI #50), South Carolina (RPI #74), and Missouri (RPI #145).
Below are how many regular season games each SEC team got to play against these three easier opponents (out of 30 games total)
9 games- LSU, Arkansas
6 games- everyone else
3 games- Auburn, Vanderbilt, Missouri, South Carolina
Yeah, I mean every other SEC team is rated in the Top 36 and will make the NCAA Tournament.
I would say LSU and Arkansas getting to play 9 regular season games against conference teams not good enough to make it to the NCAA Tournament while Auburn and Vandy both played just 3 games against such teams is a significant advantage.
Anyone who says otherwise is simply denying the facts.

Well, there’s one team I can think of this won’t hurt.

What you "heard" last night?
Really? In your dream state?
Might as well eliminate the Tennessee series for the last half of the season; eliminate the South Carolina series, et al.
Good grief.

Or, consider that those 3 teams had to play LSU and Arkansas and that hurt their chances as well. This is fricking stupid.
