For starters, you play at Alabama and LSU, who both bring back basically everything.

Isn't Bama losing a crapload of juniors? You really think julio stays?

I've never seen Saban like he was last Saturday.

What, frustrated with a young defense, and seeing the offense have the same problems? Pile up yardage, but have the OL crumble again? Experience and another year of development will do wonders for the 2011 Crimson Tide. Alabama is loaded, and now they have the experience, and a sour taste in their mouth.

Even if we lost Julio, Ingram, Barron, and Dareus, Alabama would still have 16 returning starters. I think I've already said this twice in this thread.

Damn, I feel bad now for asking

Julio, Ingram, and McElroy gone has got to hurt. You return your entire Oline?

LSU has 9 returning on offense and 8 returning on defense.

K. Shep is probably the biggest loss. I can see LSU replacing the other guys with all the guys who have gotten great experience this year.

Well our rb/K/P, Jasper, might be our biggest loss. I don't know if you want to count special teams though.

It's not as if we bring back most of our talent as well.

But keep on disregarding us

Arkansas will win the west next season. I think our offense will be better. Wilson, gives the threat to run. Knile and DJ running the ball. Return the best group of WR too. Our defense should only get better.

Arkansas
LSU
Alabama
Miss St.
Auburn
Ole Miss

Yep. Ya'll keep saying that we're just Arkansas.

We'll be better next year than this year and if Mallett comes back, watch out.

You will never have a QB at Arkansas that will put up better numbers than Mallet. You lose 3 starters on the oline, your two toughest games are on the road, but above all, you're Arkansas.

4 of 5, just like LSU.

So will LSU and the Gumps, both of whom are just more talented than Arkansas.

I'm sorry but ya'll look WAY to much into recruiting stars.

We have just as much talent as anyone in the SEC-w right now. And the system to beat anyone anywhere.

I don't think Arkansas can run the table next year with Alabama and LSU being road games, so it will take some luck for us to win the SECW. We have a favorable draw from the East, with South Carolina at home, Vandy on the road, and I think Tennessee at home or away. Doesn't matter, I think we will be better than Tennessee next year.

How well we do will really depend on how our QB and OL play--those are the biggest question marks going into next year. I feel confident about RB, WR, TE, DT, LB, and CB. DE and S are a little iffy too, with our losses, but I really think we will be fine at those positions.

QB and OL though... those are two of the most important units on any team. If either one of them struggle then we'll be middle-of-the-pack at best.

Then why can't you do it?

Do you think Alabama is just going to go away because of a 9-3 season? Do you think all the talent that has been accumulated in the last four classes hasn't been developed? Do you think that the experience earned by a young group of players won't pay off in 2011? Alabama will only have between 16-18 starters back in 2011, depending on the NFL draft.

Next year we may not need someone who can put up numbers like Mallett. Knile Davis gives us a very good running game, and the return of Dennis Johnson will only strengthen our rushing attack. We will need to get very good play from our young OL next year, however, so we'll just have to see whether we can rely on our running game.

I do think that Tyler Wilson will be one of the top QBs in the SEC next year, however.
