They haven’t beaten UGA but once or twice in over 20 years and that was with teams under NCAA investigation. They are one bitter group of people. They can’t decide who they hate most - Georgia or Alabama. So they bitch non stop about both.

It was filmed in Georgia because Georgia people most resemble the toothless hicks they needed.

You do know Deliverance was filmed in Georgia......was way easier to cast the film from what I hear.
Actually because James Dickey is from Georgia and the novel is based on a canoe trip he and 4 friends made. The resulting movie set the wheels in motion that eventually became a film production behemoth which is the largest in the US...and drives about $10 billion a year in revenue in the state and the region...

Everywhere else in the country, UT is Texas. Tennessee is Tennessee. Same with USC.

Funny. Especially coming from a state with thousands of obese toothless, overall wearing hill billies who find family so important to them they marry their sisters. I’ve seen Tennessee. It’s a state so backwards moonshine production is their biggest industry and their sons are also their nephews

So what. Georgia has a lot of accomplished actors. They play a role. In Tennessee it’s not role playing.
Take a ride around some of those dirt roads in the mountains of Tennessee and check it out. You will feel like you’ve stepped into a time machine and gone back decades. You will find people who brag about their third grade education and have never visited a dentist in their life, living in rusted out trailers or shacks in mountain hollars or dusty fields.
I feel sorry for these people. They were born with challenges most of us can’t imagine. Most have never set foot on the UT campus but some have managed to get a tv antenna, satellite dish or even cable and have become UT fans and that connection has become one off the most important things in their life. Good for them. I’m glad they have this. But don’t pretend these people don’t exist. They do. The directors of Deliverance could have saved a lot of money using authentic people and not actors.

Georgia was chosen because it has beautiful land and the movie company got big tax incentives to film in the state. If the movie folks wanted authenticity they should have gone north. No need to hire actors. Tennessee has the real thing.

I cant stand Texas, really, but ask around the country who UT is, and it isnt the Vols. UT is most def in that shithole Austin.

Tennessee fans really should seek help about their insecurity over the "UT" tag. tldr we don't care what you call yourselves and we don't care if you don't like us using it as well. It's fricking stupid. Let's play football.

Like I said before...what difference does it make? We say UT, they say UT..and we don't give a shite what anyone else says...in fact...we laugh our asses off at little brother using t.u. and giggling like school girls because they think it's funny....it is..but not in the way they think.

So explain exactly how Davy Crockett and the other Tennesseans that got skewered by Santa Anna at the Alamo, “bailed out” Texas? Sheesh

Texas' largest city is named after a former Tennessee governor. There is a reason. Put that dull little mind to work and find it.
