That’s funny. Especially coming from a fan of a school where a goober who owns a lumber co runs the school.
Sounds you are jealous that Georgia has big donors - and thousands of small ones too - who love UGA and want to be part of a successful program. They are very generous to say the least. Money is not a problem at Georgia. Maybe if AU would stop handing out $49 mil contracts to bad coaches and changing those coaches every time the wind blows y’all would have more money from actual fans and wouldn’t have to depend of a lumber co Goober to foot your bills.

and it’s correct for both, but it will be confusing for all.

Texas or TX
Tennessee or TN
The aggies call us “tu” because they think it’s an insult of UT. Saying it lowercase is important and will be corrected if not done right.
Makes no difference to me, but people are gonna be confused when someone does say UT. It goes both ways.
Some will call Tennessee UT..

UT is a charter member of the SEC. They are the real UT. And real conference members - not some Johnny come lately. Texas should be grateful that money won the day and they were allowed into the SEC. They need to choose another way of identifying themselves. Tennessee should not have to change anything to accommodate these outsiders

If Texas was secure in who they are they wouldn’t feel the need to brag about how much money they have or talk about how they are gonna change the SEC. No one gives a damn about your money - there are some very wealthy schools in the SEC so your bragging isn’t impressing anyone. We, the members of the SEC, like things the way they are. And we don’t plan on changing a thing because you arrogant Texans think we should. You need to get it thru your heads that y’all are not going to run this conference. And you will find out soon enough you made a huge mistake leaving the big 12. At least you could throw your weight around there.

Literally the 2nd post in this thread.
Though I tend to agree, I don't recall many threads started by Tennessee fans about this. But each time it comes up, it's usually a Vol fan is complaining about someone using UT to refer to Texas. And never a Texas fan complaining about someone using UT to refer to Tennessee.

Folks in Georgia appreciate Auburn...its a great source of tin knockers and concrete finishers who will work for nothing! Pretty good Vo-Tech school and grads, accustomed to living in share cropping shacks and 40 year old mobile homes who will work for nothing and never complain because the alternative is a textile or paper mill on its last legs...I love me some Auburn grads...frickers can dig a ditch like nobodies business...
