Dumbass? Really?
I can read the other teams stats. But bama is #1, because they have the most storied program in the SEC. We all know this by now. And all of your little stat sheets share one common denominator.... Bama leads them
Not trying to start shite with you, but as you said we all know these stats are going to favor Alabama so why get bent out of shape about it?

And capstone, Florida didn't even lead LSu in some of them.. I'm just sayin, it's obvious the point his threads make. You can't see it cuz you got your gump glasses on

I started a thread about all-time program wins and some of you nearly had an aneurysm. It's as if every Alabama poster that starts a thread has to make it neutral, as to not offend anyone.

I don't know bro. I guess I'm just "butthurt" or somethin.
I like to read some stats sometimes, but this dude is the copy paste queen. Just gets old.

I was too. I thought their teams in the late 80's were better.
Bowl losses probably cost us several T25's. Can't go into those at 22 and come out smelling good when you collapse in Dec/Jan. It's been a tough 38 years.

Our coaches since 1982.. Jack Crowe, Danny Ford and Houston Nutt.. We have our best coach right now since we has Lou Holtz.

It definitely cost you under Hatfield- he had three 10-1 records and top 10 rankings going into the bowl games.
And BRadley, the last 2 list I've made, BCS Bowls and Team of the Decade, had LSU near the top. So yeah, I'd say you're a little butthurt.

its cuz the bama fans know if they go back to 1908 or 1936 they will be the leaders. Congrats but no one was alive back then who actually posts here so it is just ego stroking.
I'm sure the majority of us are 20-40 on here so we only care about stats that started around 80 or later. Do all those stats since 1980 and if Bama is still leading in all of them, then
i could care less about anything before 1988 myself. So in my lifetime I remember Florida being much better than Bama and LSU still has more BCS Titles than Bama.

A lot goin on in this thread, lets recap:
secfan123- nice research
elleshoe-74137 posts should impress any girl(if you need a girlfriend)
capstonegrad06- congrats on the baby
I thought Vandy finished in the top 25 last year with the Music City bowl win over BC. That would be twice since the dawn of time.

Nah, Vandy finished 7-6. The worst record in the top 25 in '08 was 9-4.

Most national titles since 1950. Second in wins to Oklahoma since 1950.

I don't know about top 25 finishes since 1980, but Alabama has two national titles and four SEC titles since then.

No, 2009 was not ehhhhhh- we were only the fifth undefeated SEC team since 1980. And that's once every 15 years not 30.

Then what was LSU doing from 1958 to 2003? Alabama was a defending champion in 1980, won again in 1992, and then 2009. That's a hell of a lot better than some "national power" like Ohio State and Texas, that went deacades between titles.
Look, you may not find accomplishments before your birth to be significant, but I do. Without the Rose Bowl teams of the 20s and 30s, Alabama never becomes the program it is today. They were the "South's team" in those days, and players like Paul Bryant became influenced by their accomplishments at the Rose Bowl to play in Tuscaloosa. If Alabama isn't accomplishing those things in the 20s and 30s, he ends up at his home state school of Arkansas. He never coaches Alabama from 1958-1983, and Alabama never adds to their legacy. Thus, coaches like Perkins and Curry never give way to Stallings and his run in the 90s, and Saban is never a head coach at Alabama now. Hell, players like Namath, Stabler, Todd, and Barker never happen, most likely.
The same things can be said for LSU's program. Where would LSU be without Paul Dietzel or Charlie McClendon? One could argue LSU never gets Saban in 2000, and Miles wouldn't be there now. LSU may have never had the success of the 2000s, if not for accomplishments of decades ago. Hence, I think the history of the game is more important than some people like to give it credit for.
