The SEC should be worried about their refs, not coaches.

Maybe if Kiffin knew the rules he would not keep putting his foot in his mouth.

Lane plays by his own rules

Kiffin had three major specific complaints on calls and non-calls:
1) Bama was clearly offside early in the game and it wasn't called.
2) The chop block should have been a non-call and the video verified that.
3) Most importantly he has officially complained to the SEC Commissioner re the flagrant non-call of Cody ripping off his helmet in a live ball situation when the ball was still bouncing behind the line of scrimmage- meaning UT could still advance it. The video clearly showed the ball bouncing behind the LOS and Cody ripping off his helmet at the same time. It wasn't a dead ball foul. The game can't end on a penalty so there should have been a 15 yd penalty against Bama and a re kick. Also that is an AUTOMATIC call in the college game- not a judgment call
These were Kiffin's specific complaints. Kiffin feels that since the ball never crossed the LOS it was still Tennessee's ball, although live.

timed perfectly to the naked eye and was damn close on replay.

If the ball was still live then Ut should have recovered it Bama did. You cant just award a live ball unpossesed to to the offense. Cover the ball and maybe you have an argument.

And has been pointed out many times...Kiffin is wrong about the rules on this. There was penalty on the Cody thing.
And many of the calls on UT were procedural...how is that the refs fault?

No shite! His crying and running his mouth is going to get him into trouble.

If he got suspended he would never live that down, nor would UT. It would be great.

Lorenzo Washington timed the snap perfectly.

How many times does the rule have to be stated before it gets through you Vols' thick skull.

The ball was spotted at the 28, it was recovered at the 29.

This...It was not Tenn ball anymore after the block. How many times does this have to be told?

The SEC is starting to remind me of the WWE.

DEAD BALL PENALTY. What part of that do you hillbilly fricks not understand? It would have been enforced after the change in possession.

How the frick is a live ball, that is recovered by Alabama, Tennessee's ball? Kiffin needs to go buy a rule book and keep his mouth shut until he memorizes the damn thing.

Mike Slive obviously hates Kiffin and has done nothing to punish other coaches when they bad mouth officials. I hate that piece of shite Slive. His old arse needs to retire, so we wont see him butting in everyones business.

Somebody explain to me what would happen. Would Kiffin be suspended from the sidelines or even from practices for a certain length of time? So who would take over as head coach if he were suspended?

Yeah, that must be it.

Once a team kicks the ball, they forfeit a series of downs, and there is no offense nor defense.
Lane needs to learn the rules.
