How can SEC fans sit quietly when Nebraska just pulled a yuuuge upset over Florida? Women’s volleyball. I guess it’s a thing.

The reason you have the tournament today is because of that LSU-Pitt game, that game lead to the NIT and then the NCAA tournament.
That game was called the champion of the south vs the champion of the east, played in Atlantic City. The leading person putting this game on had connections to LSU, and he would be a major player in putting the NIT event together.

Looks Kentucky is the king is SEC basketball all time which is not a surprise. UF needs a few more final fours so they can be second .

Alabama would have 20 NCAA appearances if 1987 wasn't vacated.
We have shite luck in the tournament too. We've had some really good teams that should have made it the elite 8 or final 4 that either completely shite the bed in the sweet 16, or get matched up with one of the hottest teams in the tourney. Would have made the Final 4 in 1976 had we not been in the same region as Indiana.
