Reading comprehension difficulties? I said in my opinion Kentucky won the national championship in 1950.

They won the SEC and they beat the #1 team in a bowl game. Oklahoma had won 31 straight games until then.

You give Alabama credit for 1941 but not 1945? I'm guessing you're looking at the "Claimed" list.

Also, are you only working off of after a team won one? Because Florida didn't win one until 1996. Even if you're generous and work off of the start of modern football (generally considered 1950), they have a 46 year run without a title.

Why did you leave Arkansas off the list? We own the 1964 championship according to several widely accepted publications. We were also awarded the 1977 NC by one outfit, although we don't claim it. Especially if you are going to include Ole Miss, when all 3 of their claimed titles are based on Dunkel, Billingsley, Better Homes & Gardens, Readers Digest, and little Johnny Rebel who works down at the gas station.

You do realize Ole Miss won the 1960 FWAA title, the same title Arkansas clings to for 1964? Is FWAA legit or not?

Well, that's kind of the point, isn't it? If theirs counts, ours does. In addition, 8 other sources crowned us in 1964.
We have many of the same sources crowning us as Ole Miss in 1960, except we have a couple more, and 2 or 3 of theirs are not exactly respected (Dunkel for instance).

The OP's post is an abomination. Meant well, but failed miserably. Arkansas' 1964 and Ole Miss' 1960 titles are legit.

1980 is so old and played out to me personally I’d like to see Georgia win the NC if Bama can’t win it. I want UF and AU to lose that worn out insult in their arsenal. Damn 1980 is so dead horse beaten. UGA fans have to just be numb to it by now. I knew Florida had to of held this bragging right.

If Georgia goes beyond LSU's 45 year drought, their drought will no longer be a laughing matter at all especially for as high as their expectations seem to be year after year.

The strip was bullshite. If I remember right none of the players were even on the team at the time of the infractions.

Ole Miss has yet to win their first....

Tennessee 1951-1998 is 47 years....

FWAA and NFF are second tier titles.

AP and UPI are first tier and widely recognized as the most legit.

FWAA and NFF have some validity but don’t hold up to the AP and UPI. True college football fans know that.

Prior to 1936, the NCF and Helms were considered to be widely recognized. Playing in and or winning the Rose Bowl helped as well.

The NFF is a farce if you ask me. They chose a 7-1-1 Iowa over 10-0-0 LSU in 1958.

Ohio State’s claim in 1961 is also a farce, but they claim it as one of their “eight.”

Kentucky has no claim to 1950. Tennessee has more of a claim.

1960 Mississippi and 1964 Arkansas have legit gripes but unfortunately fell victim of not getting the major selections.

I think Florida would've won the NC that year too if they beat Nebraska in the Sugar. Possibly same for 1985.
