UGA host win or lose
Dawgs jump straight to Quarters with a SECCG win.
If we lose on Saturday, we'd host a first round game in Athens.

Unless we all of a sudden turn into an offensive juggernaut overnight, we will be fortunate to win one game in the playoffs.
We’re playing with house money at this point so I’m happy with how the season ended up.
In the offseason we need to dump this OC, get a new QB and ditch the RPO because it’s been an abject failure for us.

Depends on seeding. #5 plays #12 and the winner takes on the #4 seed in the quarterfinals.
I'd just as soon get the W vs Bama, rise to 1-3 depending on the B1G championship results and let the field sort itself.

Should BAMA & BYU win in their respective Championship Game, OU will be the 10th seed or potentially knocked out if Notre Dame passes them in the CFP ranking this week. Oklahoma's struggle against an unranked LSU at home was not a good look.

While I think Tech is overrated, BYU is worse. The first time they played was not competitive

Georgia looks like the most complete team in the SEC. While OU has the defense to play with anyone, their offense sucks. Can't see them bringing home the big trophy.
Agree on Georgia. If we get one win I will be thrilled anything after that is icing on the cake. We were not expected to be playoff bound. After the Ole Miss loss nobody in their right mind had us going to a playoff with the schedule ahead.
Will we get R Mason Thomas back for the playoff? Will OU medical staff test Mateer to see if he is colorblind? Many unanswered questions.

Here's ESPN's take:

CFP Quarterfinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl
Caesars Superdome (New Orleans)
8 p.m., ESPN
Bonagura: No. 6 Oregon vs. No. 3 Georgia
Schlabach: No. 11 Virginia vs. No. 3 Georgia

VA is not beating whoever the 6 seed is

There is no real scenario where UGA is the 3 seed
Either 2 or 5/6/7/8

OUs offense has only “sucked” since Texas. It’s not like we didn’t see a top 25 offense before Mateers injury. If OU can get healthy and Mateer remembers how to throw a football again, OU could easily be one of the scariest teams. Over 300 yards of offense against a top LSU secondary and Mateer was pushing the ball down field again despite 3 ints.

If OSU and IU is a nail biter I could see them holding serve and leaving UGA at 3

It wouldn’t make sense and only create controversy. I can see them dropping the nail biter loser to 3 instead of 4 so they can hope a Big1 only title game happens.

They've done stranger things with the top four.

Agree...BYU was totally outplayed in Lubbock. This is an elimination game for BYU...they will play hard. Tech has a legit chance for a first round bye, so they will play hard also. Should be a good game. If BYU somehow wins and matches against TAMU...Gig'em.

Most of the top SEC teams have offensive or defensive faults...Oklahoma and BAMA have trouble running the ball, TX A&M's defense plays poorly on the road, Ole Miss defense is porous against good QBs, and GA's passing attack is mid-tier. Lefty Grove, in the form of the B10, will mow these teams down.

I think A&M at 6 or 7 beats Virginia, BYU, or OU and that’s probably it for a good season

Name your terms on OU winning a title.

Bama needs to win to get in IMO
Make no mistake, I'm no Bama fan, but it seems wrong to punish them over someone like Oklahoma for having to play another game.
