Very well done. I enjoyed reading that.

I am glad you didn't use Thomas Jefferson.

GPA was 3.7
Grad school was 3.8

I Don't enjoy long walks on the beach but can spend days in the woods with my dog, some old oak trees and a good history book. I'm an aries. I enjoy a good belgian quad or tripel over most american piss water. I prefer to carry a M 1911 .45 to the modern 'updated' sidearms we were issued, though it had to be private purchased. I truly like 'all' music but think little wayne is the biggest waste of a music contract since the chipmunks did a country album in 1993. I prefer red meat to chicken but venison is even better... And I hate pollen but spring time is a-ok.

Now, sweetheart, were you REALLY trying to get to know me or did you just want to frick?

I was going to dispute the comparison to W but now that I think about it...

blessed with money out the wazzo that we did nothing to earn b/c the daddy state struck it rich with oil? check

uses good old boy system to fill key administration positions with unqualified cronies? check

constantly embarrassing ourselves in ways that make us look like country bumpkins with an ROTC fetish? check

continually underachieving and outright failing even though we have the deck stacked in our favor? check

tend to spout a worldview that does not quite match reality? check

holy hell

we really are W!

Well done. W for A&M is spot on. I agree with the post earlier with LSU as Nixon.

Read any secession era document from that period (such as those from Milledgeville) and count the number of times the word "slavery" appears versus words or phrases like "tariff" or "states rights." The fact is that the Southern states seceded because they feared Lincoln would ban the ownership of slaves.

Exactly, "states rights" is just southern professors trying to make the south sound innocent.

I do actually agree with that, but I really wanted to use the "21-0 against OPEC" joke

Updated with LSU = Tricky Dicky. Kept the Carter one, though.

very good work. That was funny and well worth the read. Although for LSU I would maybe do Andrew Jackson. Famous for a battle that didn't technically count(Bama game this year, and/or 59 Ole Miss game and the Cannon run) Didn't care what the elitists thought of him. Did some good. Did something horrible(trail of tears, BCSCG)

Yeah, the Civil War was so unrelated to slavery that the Confederacy put a picture of slaves on a piece of its currency LINK

Swap LSU and Miss ST and I'd say your list was pretty good.

Somewhat this.. even though I hate that we'd be a Donkey president.

You can't compare a school with the recent success we've had to one of the worst presidents of all time.
