with twice the number of wins. That would be Kentucky at 4-6 favored by 2 points over #23 NC State at 8-3. If that’s not an indictment on Notre Dane getting the last playoff spot over Texas A&M, I don’t know what is.

the spread of one fame has zero bearing on anything outside of that one game.

The spread of one's fame has everything to do with one's game.

#24 Tulsa -2.5 vs. MSU unranked 3-7
#11 Indian -7 vs. Ole Miss unranked 4-5
#14 Northwestern -3.5 vs. Auburn unranked 6-4
Four games is a strange pattern proving OP's point. These lines and matchups don't make sense.

doesn’t actually prove anything actually.
spreads are based off specific matchups, players available/opt outs, where money is being placed, etc.
Kentucky being favored over NC State doesn’t mean jack or shite with regard to ND or A&M.

Well their starting QB got hurt at like the 2nd to last game of the season, I can see why UK is favored

The committee uses the cheerleaders as a tie-breaker when faced with a tough pick. That's why A&M got excluded.
