I don't work for LSU. You can GFY for all I care. What TM7 did was wrong and I openly said it. I think they deserved to be suspended.
But again, I know how real athletic programs work. I'm not an armchair QB that has never touched the sidelines of a football field.

BMFP would have gained a lot of respect had he come out to do that before the SEC. Oh well let's move on to more important things like STATS about LSU and Bama.

But Chad Jones didn't lead with the crown of his helmet. The issue was that Joe Adams left his feet.. and Chad Jones made a great play to separate the ball from the receiver.
It wasn't a cheap shot.. that's a football hit. Any high impact hit like that is dangerous.

Trust me, I think he deserved to be suspended but some people on here seemn think what is a horrible act by one team is perfectly fine for their team.

The difference from Chads hit and that thug Wades hit is pretty huge.
To pull back when both players are going at each other is difficult, Wades hit he had a good 5 seconds to know what the hell was going on.

For about the 5th time in this thread:
I have seen a 16 year old kid become paralyzed from a hit like this. I have a fricking degree in sports medicine. It is wrong and the players know it. If TM7 hit someone like that and got suspended, I would think he deserves it.
Sorry, but as an Athletic Trainer, I will defend the spearing and helmet to helmet calls until I die. Those hits destroy kids lives.

If he wasn't a pussy and could look the guy he was hitting in the face, the penalty would not have been called. His head was down when he led into the tackle.

A degree isn't needed to see this could hurt someone pretty bad.
