So, a few years ago Brandon Spikes tried to gouge another player's eyes out and got suspended for a half. Marquel Wade made a hit that would have been entirely legal if the returner had actually had the ball as Wade thought and he is suspened for an entire game?

That was Menzie and yes the leading with the helmet is what did him in. I think Menzie was just completely lost on the play and did not jump up celebrating and taunting everyone like Wade did.
