Yep, that last look they just showed during the interview with the LSU coach showed he came off.

Unfortunate for LSU, but great call by the umpire.

What I don't understand, is how the umps determined he was past second and going to third, when he clearly hadn't gone past second entirely yet.

He never slid past the bag. Part of his body just slid off of it. It's kinda stupid either way that the ump didnt even make an audible call on ball 4.

Think it's just because he touched the bag and got tagged when he came off it- nothing to do with 3rd.

What's lost in this is that Tyler Johnson for Stony Brook pitched an absolute amazing game today.

9 IP, 127 pitches, 1 ER.

He threw well, but he did get some break with the weather compared to Gausman. Can't do anything about that though.

I just wish we had competent umpires. I felt like I was watching an SEC game.

yea they caught some breaks and our line up disappears at times anyways so its nothing new. Javi needs to be sent away. The TAF might need to pony up some cash and get a small program to hire him to be the head coach

then we can take stony brooks hitting coach and we might return to our rightful spot on top of the nation.

I was thinking the exact same thing earlier today. Maybe Bossier Parish CC needs a coach.

its the only way we can get rid of pauls boy friend.

paul needs to pull his head out of his arse for game 3, he has made some mike bianco type calls in these first 2 games.

Don't get me wrong, Gausman pitched great today, as well. Especialy since he threw ~15 pitches in the first game. 3 runs should probably be enough in a Super Regional at home..

an he only gave up 3 because paul put his head up his arse and pulled in the infield so fricking early in the game.

it allowed stony brook to go from only 1 run that inning to getting 2 because of paul being so stupid early in the game. plus it was raining on gausman when all that shite went down. bad luck and bad coaching hurt gausman

I like Baxendale. If we don't win today we don't win the series imo.
