I don't really see the water logged issue. As soon as it stops raining it is gone. Of course there is water on the ground if it is pouring rain. I don't know what the dead spots have to do with anything.

If the field drained properly it wouldn't matter, that's my point.

I guess you have higher field draining standards.

Of course I do, have you seen our field? Baum is the gold standard.

Is there a video I can watch to observe the drainage in action?

real stadiums have championship banners. therefore, baum does not qualify for "gold standard"

If the SEC expands again, we should consider Stony Brook.

Serious discussion? You're in drainage denial brah, I can't have a serious discussion with someone who refuses to accept his fields' shortcomings.

Hey man. I am obviously ignorant to the possibility of superior drainage. Enlighten me.

For superior drainage, the field should be on top of 12 inches of sand, just like a golf course. We go by PGA regulations for our grass fields.

Are there different layers of sands? Different diameters? Strictly sand? Any silt? Maybe a layer of gravel?

Baum could take 6 inches in one hour and the field would still be playable about 20 minutes later.

Never seen that before. Runner gets 2nd base on a walk but was stealing, apparently slid past the bag, was tagged and called out.

Weird happening.

It was the correct call, though.
