I am. But that’s beside the point. The rest of the SEC isn’t private. They are. They don’t disclose anything but take millions and don’t seem to improve anything. Is the conference just supplementing their budget without any return for the whole?

Really? Still waiting on a defense of Vandy’s lack of investment in facilities or their actual contribution to the conference other than academics, which shouldn’t be discounted but aren’t a moneymaker when we could pull a Duke or some other private institution that actually cares about athletics

at supper the other night and heard from guys including Sankey who said AU is on the list to be removed soon. Said outside of a random year in FB and decent basketball with Pearl they bring nothing to the table.

It kind of blows my mind that many of you are okay with giving $40+ million a year to a school that doesn’t disclose how they use it, makes no discernible improvements while offering little to market value. ESPN doesn’t give two shits if they’re in our conference. And Vandy doesn’t seem to care either.

Yeah, Vandy has been more successful in big three sports this century than Auburn. Maybe Auburn should copy Vandy’s facilities.
