1. Mississippi State

For that matter, Mississippi State is the only school nationwide that can claim this. Also, for bonus points, Mississippi State has a top 25 Women's basketball team as well.

Pretty good for poor ol' Missippy State. John Cohen for Athletic Director of the year.

Let's see...would I want Bama to trade their championship win for a top 25 season in bball and baseball? Yeah no thanks.

Congrats on the natties though.......oh wait.

I mean... that trophy case makes SC's athletic department look like Stanford.

maybe let the season play out before thumping your chest about a basketball ranking in early December. Season isn't over for the football team either. And didn't Miss State fans tell us that Cohen had Schloss signed, sealed, and delivered as y'all's next baseball coach...until he wasn't.

Except the Ags weren't top 25 in baseball either. So you are 1-for-3 and barely in the top 25 in football, lol.

This is true but irrelevant to the topic.

State's Athletic Department is seeing success accross the board like never before. It is impressive when considering the size of our fan base, economic shortcomings(comparatively), and history of mediocrity(at best). Consistency equals long term success and long term success equals eventual national championships. In just the past 5 years we have been ranked #1 in football for 5 weeks, and had the 3rd most total wins in the SEC. Been to a National Championship and semi final appearance in College Baseball, and been to two national championships in Women's basketball. I like the direction we are headed in. That ever elusive national championship is coming.

No, they did not. Although the OP is wrong.

Duke finished the season ranked 11th in baseball and are currently ranked 2nd in basketball.

Auburn finished the season ranked 13th in baseball and are currently ranked 8th in basketball

UNC finished the season ranked 5th in baseball and are currently ranked 12th in basketball

None of them are currently ranked in the football top 25. Thanks for playing, though.

Miss the part about football, eh? Neither Duke, Auburn, nor UNC are in the top 25 of the final College Football Playoff Poll.

Mississippi State:
Baseball- #6
Football- #18
MBB- #17
WBB- #5

If you wanna make it the academic year instead of the calender year, MSU baseball will easily be ranked top 15-20 in the first college baseball preseason poll. That means that during this academic year, MSU was ranked preseason top 20 in Football, Baseball, MBB and WBB. We will see how they finish, but impressive nonetheless
