Tier 1: Alabama - Auburn, LSU - Florida, Auburn - Georgia, Florida - Georgia

These schools are good across the board in athletics and usually have a strong rivalry regardless of the sport. These are also strong, dated rivalries

Tier 2: Alabama - Tennessee, Mississippi State - Ole Miss, Tennessee - Florida, Georgia - Tennessee

These rivalries may be storied and may consist of historically good programs, but due to a lack of recent success by some of these schools, these rivalries have suffered a bit.

Tier 3: LSU - Texas A&M, Kentucky - Tennessee, LSU - Arkansas, Alabama - LSU, Vanderbilt - Tennessee

Some of these aren’t “storied” rivalries and have kind of developed over the past 10 years. All of them have potential if they continue to heat up.

Yeah, it could easily be Tier 2 if they have another great game this year.

Tier 1 in 3 years minimum.

what?

I know SC fans are going to joke about how we wish to be their rivals, but this "rivalry" doens't belong anywhere near tier 2. Outside of about a 4-5 year period when 1)SC was actually good nationally 2)they had spurrier as coach, this hasn't really been any sort of rivalry at all.

Well, I did it based on the fans perspectives as well and the SC fans hate y’all. They definitely thinks it’s a rivalry and many other SEC fans consider it one too.

Georgia-Tennessee a much bigger rivalry than Georgia-South Carolina.

And it's Georgia-Florida. When the Gators catch up in the win column, it can be Florida-Georgia.

So I guess bama/ole miss is a tier 2 rivalry as well, since ole miss happened to beat bama a few times?

We need to bring the beer barrel back. If we could win a couple of times in a row it would be more interesting. Theres still hatred though

Your best team in forever got completely dominated by the least talented team to ever take the field at UT, I don’t see Kentucky reeling off multiple victories in a row any time soon

I don't see it either, that's why I said "IF" we could, not that we will.
We might be able to win this year, we'll see. UT is a game that no matter how bad they are I expect an L

Still expecting VOLS to win that fixture. Even in Lyles hilarious last season, we were still a foot away from walking out of Lexington with a W

Based off this board, it's easily the most heated, but that's due to the large number of insane LSU and A&M members who comment. I would say your analysis is correct for the rest of the world, which makes up 99.99%

As much as you all hated the bull dyke, imagine what it would be like having your team lose to him multiple times.
The horror...
