^^^Someone bumped this, so if you are confused, take a look at the date this OP was posted.

It's well-established that our head coach leaves a little bit to be desired, put politely. Nonetheless, here's where everyone stands after 5+ years of having a dunce on the opposing LSU sideline (below is each school's record against Les Miles):

Florida 3-2
Georgia 2-1
Arkansas 2-3
Ole Miss 2-3
Alabama 2-3
Kentucky 1-1
Tennessee 1-3
Auburn 1-4
South Carolina 0-2
Vanderbilt 0-3
Mississippi State 0-6

A better measure would be Les Miles vs current SEC coaches.

I'm not guaging current coach vs current coach... I'm measuring "SEC programs vs Les Miles"... but you are correct, it would be more accurate in terms of current status.

I pray everyday he gets lucky enough to remain the coach yet another year. Yall will be fighting for 4th place with him as long as he's the head man.

How did would this same post make it over on the Rant?

Just wondering if your own Tiger brethern have a good feeling about Miles today.

yeah, I was looking at it from each school's perspective and not so much from the Les Miles perspective...

No one at LSU feels good about miles today, including myself.

But the only people that should take more heat than Miles are the people that lose to Miles.

I see it this way.

Les at LSU- LSU is getting worse every year.

Good coach- Alabama and LSU are 1 and 2 in the west every year with Aub/Ark getting the 2nd spot once every 3 years.

Until LSU gets a new coach Alabama will be dominant in the West.

Sounds great, but 2010>2009>2008 kind of ruins your argument.

But I do see what you are saying (since 2007, LSU has definitely gone from a Top5-type team to a Top20-type team), but it is not as pronounced as you are saying. LSU has certainly taken a backseat to Bama the last 2+years and it appears to be what's going to continue for the foreseeable future.

uh, you're kinda where you were last year-

ranked high until you play florida. btw, arkansas and auburn both have much better chances of beating you this year than they did last year.

LSU is better all-around team in 2010 than in 2009.

Better defense, better special teams, better Oline, better running game, same awful passing game which actually shows promise of getting better with Lee the second half of the season.

Nonetheless, most LSU fans agree that the 2010 team is better than the 2009 LSU team that went 9-3.

you haven't improved as much as the teams you're going to play.

Who have they played against to make that kind of assessment? LSU has yet to play the actual good teams portion of their schedule. You don't actually know if they are better yet.
