Too many teams in each conference and too many conferences are lopsided in this scenario. Just wait ll the gnashing of teeth starts when an acc champ that didn’t play fsu Miami or Clem; Or a big 12 team that dodged ou tex and atm gets in. Love the service academies they’re still real college football but they need to be in D2 or Ivy League in today’s game. Same could be said for wake forest Rutgers and northwestern. Probably vandy too. Can cincy wash St Oregon st afford a thirty mil roster every year? Do some of these schools want to spend that kinda money or they just happy getting a paycheck?

Option 1. And go back to the pre 1992 10 teams.

Clemson would provide more revenue and prestige to the conference.
